coaching the mental game

The players have to play with pressure first. This can be through tournaments, league, or challenge matches. There must be something at stake. Video of the match can also help as their play will be very obviously on display.  charting also helps.

Pre-match preparations

find your formula for optimal performance. OH and I have a rule--1) no arguments with anyone before my match (gf especially). 2) no alcohol 48 hours out--it causes dehydration and heat exhaustion sapping performance. 3) no nooky...etc. :D
